1. About Us
1.1Wigsons Digital is a web design and build agency providing website services to businesses in the hair and beauty sector, including salons, barbershops, mobile stylists, and nail technicians.
1.2We operate across Surrey, Bath, and Southampton and can work with clients remotely.
1.3For all enquiries, contact us at info@wigsonsdigital.com. Client-facing communications are managed by James Wigmore.
2. Our Services
2.1Wigsons Digital provides new website builds only. We do not offer redesigns of existing websites as a standard service.
2.2Our services are offered across three tiers — Starter, Standard, and Premium — each with a defined feature set as described in our current pricing information. All package prices are for the website build only and do not include post-launch hosting, maintenance, or handover. These arrangements are agreed separately after the build is complete.
2.3The standard project timeline is 15 working days from the date we receive all required content from you. A priority build option is available for an additional fee.
2.4
Post-build, clients choose between two arrangements:
- Buyout (£99 one-off handover fee) — full website files are handed over on receipt of the handover fee and final project payment. Hosting and domain management become the Client's responsibility from that point.
- Monthly Maintenance (from £30/month) — Wigsons Digital retains and manages hosting and domain, and provides 1 hour of included updates per month. Additional update time beyond the 1 hour is charged at £1/minute. Either party may cancel with 30 days' written notice.
The post-launch arrangement is not included in the build package price and must be confirmed separately before or at the point of launch.
3. Enquiries & Proposals
3.1To get started, clients complete our requirements form. This helps us understand your business, goals, and preferences before we make a recommendation.
3.2Following your form submission, we will review your answers and may follow up with clarifying questions or suggest a short call before preparing a proposal.
3.3Our proposal will outline the recommended package, what's included, the price, and the timeline. We aim to give you a clear picture before you commit to anything.
3.4All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. We reserve the right to requote after this period.
3.5Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). VAT will be applied where applicable.
4. Payment
4.1All projects operate on a deposit-first model. A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the agreed build fee is due upon signing the Client Service Agreement. Work does not begin until both the signed contract and deposit are received.
4.2The remaining 50% balance is due prior to the website going live. We reserve the right to withhold launch until full payment is received.
4.3All payments are processed via Stripe. We send payment links by email — we do not accept bank transfer or cash unless agreed in writing.
4.4Invoices not paid within 7 days of issue may accrue statutory interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
4.5Failure to pay may result in suspension of services and removal of any completed work until the outstanding balance is settled.
5. Client Responsibilities
5.1
To keep your project on schedule, you agree to:
- Provide all required content — text, images, logo files, and any other assets — within 5 working days of signing the Client Service Agreement.
- Respond to design reviews, preview links, and queries within 3 working days.
- Nominate one point of contact for all project communications.
- Ensure all content you supply is owned by you or properly licensed for commercial use. You accept full responsibility for any copyright or IP issues arising from content you provide.
- Supply accurate business information, including your address, phone number, and any regulatory requirements specific to your industry.
5.2Delays caused by your failure to meet these obligations may extend the project timeline. Wigsons Digital is not liable for delays attributable to the Client.
6. Revisions & Amends
6.1Each project includes up to two rounds of consolidated revisions. A revision round means one set of feedback submitted at one time — not a series of back-and-forth messages.
6.2Revisions must fall within the original agreed scope. New pages, additional features, or structural changes will be treated as out-of-scope and quoted separately.
6.3Additional revision rounds beyond those included are available at our standard hourly rate, agreed in writing before work begins.
7. Contracts & Signing
7.1All Client Service Agreements are sent via DocuSign for electronic signature. We will never begin work or request payment before the contract is signed.
7.2If you do not receive your DocuSign email, please check your junk folder. Contact James at james@wigsonsdigital.com if you have any issues.
7.3By signing the Client Service Agreement, you also agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1Buyout clients: Upon receipt of full payment (including the £99 handover fee), all rights to the website design and code transfer to you. Files will be handed over promptly on payment.
8.2Maintenance clients: The website is licensed to you for the duration of the active maintenance subscription. On cancellation, Wigsons Digital retains ownership of the codebase. You may move to a Buyout arrangement at any point by paying the £99 handover fee.
8.3Third-party assets used in the build (stock images, fonts, plugins, themes) remain subject to their own licences. You are responsible for maintaining any ongoing licences required after handover.
8.4Wigsons Digital retains the right to display your completed project in our portfolio and marketing materials unless you request otherwise in writing within 14 days of launch.
9. Confidentiality
9.1Both parties agree to keep confidential all client information, business processes, pricing, and internal communications shared in connection with the project.
9.2This obligation applies both during and after the project and survives the termination of any agreement between us.
10. Cancellation
10.2The initial deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances, as it covers our time spent on planning, onboarding, and initial design work.
10.3If cancellation occurs after work has commenced, a kill fee applies based on the stage reached, as set out in your Client Service Agreement.
10.4For maintenance clients, either party may cancel the ongoing subscription with 30 days' written notice.
11. Liability
11.1Wigsons Digital will deliver your website with reasonable skill and care. We warrant it will function as agreed at the point of handover.
11.2We do not guarantee any specific business outcomes — including search engine rankings, website traffic, bookings, or revenue — resulting from your website.
11.3Our total liability to you shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the relevant project.
11.4We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, or for issues arising from third-party platforms, hosting providers, or software after handover.
11.5We are not responsible for issues caused by changes made to the website by you or a third party after we have handed the project over.
12. Post-Launch Support
12.1We will fix any bugs or errors clearly attributable to our build within 14 days of launch at no charge.
12.2Maintenance clients receive 1 hour of included updates per month. Just email James with anything you need changed and we'll get it done. Additional time beyond 1 hour is charged at £1/minute.
12.3Ongoing maintenance or additional development for Buyout clients is not included and will be quoted on request.
13. Data Protection
13.1We handle all personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
13.2Any personal data you share with us is used solely to deliver your project and will not be sold or shared with third parties without your consent.
14. Changes to These Terms
14.2Continued use of our services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
